The Promenade at Dublin Ranch is the first installment of an overall development envisioned to create a pedestrian oriented “main street” within Dublin Ranch connecting an existing portion of commercial to the residential units to the north. The concept was to create a series of pedestrian oriented retail/office areas adjacent to existing high density residential development with an “old town” appearance conveying a strong sense of place for residents and visitors. The street scape includes concrete unit pavers to extend the vertical plane to the sidewalks and open plazas, coupled with select street furniture to enhance the theme of the project and fountains for a dramatic focal point. The pool area of Club Sport was conceived as a very contemporary outdoor space indicative of the boutique hotels and trendy evening activities and events by the use of refined finishes and dramatic “architectural” plant material and decorative lighting.
